Renée Peck, a journalist with NolaVie, conducted a series of stories called Voices on Education, exploring arts-integrated, experiential learning programs in New Orleans schools.
Renée interviewed some of our board, staff, and faculty. She also took a tour of the school so she could see our classrooms in action and came away an enthusiastic proponent of the Waldorf School of New Orleans.
The Waldorf School of New Orleans is an independent school that provides a developmentally appropriate, experiential approach to education. Our goal is to inspire lifelong learning and to enable students to fully develop their capacities.
We provide classes for children from nursery school and preschool through 8th grade, including before- and afterschool care and a parent/child playgroup for ages 1 to 3.
