Programs, Classes, and Curriculum

Our Curriculum

The Waldorf curriculum aims to inspire lifelong learning in all students and to enable them to fully develop their capabilities.

For the Waldorf student, music, dance and theater, writing, literature, legends and myths are not simply subjects to be read about and tested. They are to be experienced. Through these experiences, Waldorf students cultivate a lifelong love of learning as well as the intellectual, emotional, physical, and spiritual capacities to be individuals certain of their paths and of service to the world. Grade School: Elementary School for Grades 1 to 8

The curriculum is designed to both stimulate and support the developing child. The subject studies during the Main Lesson in the morning are often woven into artistic activities later in the day. The challenges of handwork, music, and the fine arts are not separated from the academic subjects, but are presented as vital parts of a complete education.
