Other ways to help

Proceeds from the following items support the Waldorf School of New Orleans (WSNO).

GiveNOLA Day

GiveNOLA Day is a 24-hours event hosted by the Greater New Orleans Foundation to inspire people to give generously to nonprofit organizations that are making our region stronger, creating a thriving community for all.  On May 2, 2017 from midnight to midnight, Waldorf School of New Orleans is participating in GiveNOLA Day, which ignites the giving spirit throughout the region. Please visit the site www.givenola.org anytime between midnight and midnight, search for our nonprofit and donate $10 or more. Your donation will go a long way in helping us bring independent art-based education to Lousiana. By making a donation on May 2, your gift could help us win $1,000 through Rock-Around-the-Clock, the randomly selected prize given each hour to any participating nonprofit that received a donation in that hour! Sign up for an hour slot here.  GiveNOLA Day is a way for our community to come together to give as one. Together, we hope to raise $9000 this year, and we can’t do it without your help. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions, Erin Pelias info@waldorfnola.org 504-525-2420.

The Birthday Book Club honors your child on his or her birthday by adding a book to the Waldorf School of New Orleans library.

Here's how it works:
Choose a book from the special list to be presented to your child during Library class. The Birthday Child will be the first to check it out of the library. It will be adorned with a special commemorative bookplate. Once the book is returned, it will become a permanent part of the Waldorf School of New Orleans Library.
