Vine and Spirit

A benefit for the Waldorf School of New Orleans featuring biodynamic drinks and Louisiana cuisine, the 2011 Vine and Spirit was held May 24th at the Eiffel Society. This event featured biodynamic distilled spirits from Marian Farms in Fresno, CA, and food pairings by Marian Farms' Doug Wakida and Eiffel's Jim Bremer. The evening was presented by Gena Nonini, Marian Farms' land steward, and Poppy Tooker, local food activist known for her shows, "Louisiana Eats!" and "Eat It to Save It!"
