As the only Waldorf School in the state of Louisiana, our faculty and staff enjoy the fantastic opportunities that come with living in one of the most unique cities in America. From exploring the French Quarter and spending all weekend at Jazz Fest, to enjoying fabulous restaurants and experiencing Mardi Gras (with a school break!), we celebrate life.​

About Us

Waldorf School of New Orleans offers a developmentally appropriate approach to education while integrating the arts with academics for children from preschool through eighth grade. Our curriculum aims to inspire lifelong learning in all students. Our mission is to awaken and draw out each student's individual strength and integrity, allowing them to become a free thinker; a courageous seeker of truth and knowledge; and an empathetic, enthusiastic participant and innovator in local culture and global society. 

 

With a main campus in the Mid City / 7th Ward neighborhood, and an Early Childhood Center in historic Uptown, Waldorf School of New Orleans is a federally recognized 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, nationality, or ethnic origin in its admissions, educational, and hiring policies.
