As the only Waldorf School in the state of Louisiana, our faculty and staff enjoy the fantastic opportunities that come with living in one of the most unique cities in America. From exploring the French Quarter and spending all weekend at Jazz Fest, to enjoying fabulous restaurants and experiencing Mardi Gras (with a school break!), we celebrate life.
Waldorf School of New Orleans offers a developmentally appropriate approach to education while integrating the arts with academics for children from preschool through eighth grade. Our curriculum aims to inspire lifelong learning in all students. Our mission is to awaken and draw out each student's individual strength and integrity, allowing them to become a free thinker; a courageous seeker of truth and knowledge; and an empathetic, enthusiastic participant and innovator in local culture and global society.
