A Message from the Head of School

Dear WSNO Families,

Now that we are in the third week of social distancing, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience and cooperation as the Waldorf School of New Orleans faculty and staff work diligently to continue to provide meaningful instruction to our students.

The unprecedented series of events has been trying for all of us, but you can rest assured that we are continuing to strive and to do everything we can to ensure that our Waldorf School Community remains intact.

With that goal in mind, our teachers continue to provide remote learning using Google Classroom and Zoom lessons suitable for each grade. They also will continue to communicate with you on a regular basis. If you have any questions, concerns or suggestions on how we can do things better, please do not hesitate to reach our to your child’s teacher, Grades Chair Jill Contento (jcontento@waldorfnola.org) , Early Childhood Chair Diana Miklos (dmiklos@waldorfnola.org) or me (headofschool@waldorfnola.org). We are here to help.

We at the Waldorf School of New Orleans also are concerned about the well being of our families. Please follow all of the guidelines and mandates that have been issued by our local, state and national officials. We can and will get through this. The key is to stay as connected as we can while staying a safe distance from each other until it is safe for us move around freely again. Let’s all do our part to make this happen.

Please check your e-mail, social media and our website regularly. We will send messages and post information to help keep you informed.

Be safe, stay healthy and stay connected!

In Partnership,

Joe Peychaud,

Head of School
