WSNO Alumni News

We are excited to announce our first WSNO Alumni Event and the launch of the Starry Night Alumni Art Gallery!

WNSO ALUMNI EVENT

Waldorf School of New Orleans is thrilled to invite you and your student to our very first Alumni Event!  We are putting together a panel of college-and-beyond Waldorf Alumni to speak to our 7th and 8th graders and alumni now in high school about how Waldorf education impacted their lives.

Our Alumni Panel will take place on Friday, February 1st from 4-5 pm at Raphael Academy across the street from our Soraparu St. Campus. The keynote speaker will be Genevieve Nielsen who graduated from our founding class, has gone on to co-found mRelief, and was named one of Forbes 2017 30 Under 30. This event is open to our current 7th and 8th grade students and WSNO Alumni now in high school. Register here.

Following the Alumni Panel is our annual Starry Night Gala at New Orleans Jazz Market, 1436 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd. Our Patron Party begins at 6pm with special dance performances, General Admission at 7pm. This year’s event will feature a live performance by acclaimed musician, composer and Grammy Award winner Nicholas Payton. There will also be reserved tables for Alumni 21 and older and Alumni parents. Read more about the event and purchase tickets.
