Handwork Club is Back!

Dear Families of Handwork Enthusiasts!

I will be offering Handwork Club again this Fall.  To accommodate our new exciting after school sports program which has practice on Wednesdays I will be offering Handwork Club on Mondays from 3:30-4:30.

Depending on the student's skill level and interest they will be working on either a knitting/crochet  project or a hand sewing/needlework project.  Club is open to students 2nd grade and up (1st grade will be invited to join in the Spring).  I have room for a maximum of 10 students so please get in touch as soon as possible if your child wishes to participate!

$130 includes supplies and snack, Sep 10th-Dec 17th

(No Club on Oct 8th for Fall Break or Nov 19 for Parent/Teacher conferences)

Important Note: Handwork Club is a time for students who are passionate about handwork and want more time to expand and hone their skill sets. This is a quiet, calm and most importantly focused space.  If your child has a lot of energy at the end of the school day, a movement based extracurricular may suit them better.  Feel free to contact Movement teacher Lila Campbell for ideas! You can reach her at lcampbell@waldorfnola.org.

Registration is now open on a first-come-first-served basis! Please contact Ms. Anais at aadair@waldorfnola.org to sign up.

Thank You,

Anais Adair
